1.Nitrates (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate): Cialis and nitrates both lower blood pressure. Taking them together can cause a significant and potentially life-threatening drop in blood pressure (hypotension), leading to dizziness, fainting, or even heart attack or stroke. It is contraindicated to use Cialis with nitrates or recreational "poppers" (amyl nitrites).
2.Alpha-blockers (e.g., prazosin, terazosin, tamsulosin): Both Cialis and alpha-blockers relax blood vessels, which can lead to excessive blood pressure reduction when used together. This may result in dizziness, fainting, or orthostatic hypotension (a sudden drop in blood pressure when standing). If needed, your doctor may adjust the dosage or recommend spacing the medications.
3.Other antihypertensive drugs (e.g., atenolol, propranolol, enalapril, lisinopril): Cialis can enhance the blood-pressure-lowering effects of these medications. While this interaction is usually less severe than with nitrates or alpha-blockers, it can still cause dizziness or fainting in sensitive individuals. Close monitoring of blood pressure is recommended.
Cialis (tadalafil) can interact with certain foods and beverages, potentially altering its effectiveness or increasing the risk of side effects. Here are the key drug-food interactions to be aware of:
Cialis (tadalafil) is strictly a prescription medication and should not be used by individuals who are experiencing ED. ManiaFREE EDCialis (tadalafil) works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis, allowing for increased blood flow, resulting in erectile dysfunction. This helps achieve and maintain an erection during sexual activity.
Mechanism of actionTadalafil belongs to a class of medications known as PDE5 inhibitors.
Whether you can take Tadalafil at the same time as your other medications will depend on which medications you are taking.
You are required to complete a short medical consultation questionnaire that asks for any medications that you are prescribed from your GP and will indicate the medications that can’t be taken alongside Tadalafil.
There are several medicines which should not be taken concurrently with Tadalafil. Medicines which can have potentially serious interactions with Tadalafil include :-
• Any alpha-blocker medicines e.g. doxazosin (Cardura), alfuzosin (Xatral), tamsulosin, terazosin, or Flomax, that you can buy in the pharmacy. (These medicines may be used to treat prostate problems or high blood pressure).
• Isosorbide mononitrate, isosorbide dinitrate, or use a GTN spray or tablets
for chest pain or use Rectogesic ointment?
• Nicorandil (Ikorel), used to treat angina
• Cimetidine, used to treat stomach or duodenal (peptic) ulcers
• Theophylline, used to treat asthma
• Antibiotics:- Clarithromycin, Erythromycin and Telithromycin
• Anti-fungals such as itraconazole and ketoconazole
• Seizure medication:- carbamazepine, oxcarbazepine, phenobarbital, phenytoin and primidone
• Heart or blood pressure medication:- disopyramide, amiodarone, quinidine and procainamide
• Anti-viral medication:- telaprevir, atazanavir, retonavir, indinavir, saquinavir and cobicistat
• Recreational drugs:- amyl nitrate (poppers)
If you are taking any prescribed medication from your GP then you can simply write those in the “Is there any other medical information that you think our doctor should know?” section on the medical questionnaire. Then, our doctor will know whether the Tadalafil is safe for you to take.

Tadalafil is a medication that is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It is a diuretic which helps the kidneys get rid of excess fluid from the body. ED is the medical term used to describe conditions in which the body finds it difficult to get or keep an erection.
Tadalafil is most effective when taken within a hour of waking up. This is a times of low blood pressure and/or rapid heart rate.
A lack of blood flow is possible if Tadalafil is taken in combination with a strain of pregnancy testine, stopped the production of which can cause an tofu (e.g. ranolazine) and/or increased mortality. In either case, is usually prescribed as a third time.
I have also noticed a significant increase in suicidal thoughts with Tadalafil. How this may affect you is not being clear cut, but it is possible that it may be related.
How may I use Tadalafil?
Tadalafil is usually administered as a tablet or a flexible capsule. The first 2 times are taken to get blood pressure and heart rate down. The 3 times are taken to get low blood pressure and/or rapid heart rate.
You should take this medicine at the same time each day as you take one of the following :-
• Tadalafil 1mg each day for the first 2 times
Tadalafil 10mg each time
If you have been advised not to take Tadalafil 1mg as this may result in two days’ time off treatment.
If you take more than one Tadalafil you should stop this treatment and will be asked to take a single dose of this medicine.
If you have been advised to take Tadalafil at the same time as any of your other medications, then you should use the second pill tomg and pilltime as opposed to the first tomg.

Dapoxetine is a potent and selective inhibitor of PDE5. It acts as an Erectile Dysfunction agent, by inhibiting cGMP-specific phosphodiesterase type-5 (PDE5), which is responsible for cGMP degradation in penile tissue. It effectively increases cGMP levels, promoting adequate erection and facilitating the penile erection.
The most common side effects of Dapoxetine are:
Patients with certain medical conditions should be monitored for possible adverse reactions. In the event of any serious or persistent symptoms or reactions, seek immediate medical attention.
You are at risk of experiencing some adverse effects if you are a woman or an unborn child, or if you are in the third trimester of pregnancy. Dapoxetine is not recommended in a newborn under 18 weeks of gestation.
Dapoxetine may have potential drug interactions, which should be discussed with your doctor before starting the medication. Dapoxetine is not a narcotic and does not have a depressant effect. In the event of any serious drug interactions, inform your doctor about the use of Dapoxetine and the possible dangers.
You should not use Dapoxetine if you are allergic to sildenafil citrate, tadalafil, vardenafil or any other component of this medication, or if you have an anatomical deformation of the penis (such as angulation, cavernosal fibrosis or Peyronie’s disease), Peyronie’s disease or diabetes.
You are at risk of experiencing certain side effects if you have a medical history of severe heart problems such as irregular heartbeat, chest pain, severe heart failure, right ventricular tachycardia, or an irregular heartbeat. You are at risk of experiencing certain side effects if you are pregnant, a sexually transmitted infection, or have had an allergy to tadalafil or any component of this medication, or if you are taking any other class of medications.
